Megan Weitz

Miss Weitz holds an AA in Textile Design and a BA in Arts in Design. Currently, Miss Weitz is actively working towards obtaining her teaching credentials and pursuing a master’s in education.

This marks her third year at Carden, where she is Carden Trained and has completed Early Childhood Development classes. As a warm and caring teacher, Miss Weitz is dedicated to ensuring the success of all children as learners. Her goal is to create a classroom atmosphere that is stimulating, encouraging, and adaptive to the varied needs of students. Miss Weitz’s journey into teaching began as an aide in 5th and 1st grades, followed by a year of teaching in 3rd grade and some time spent in Jr. Kindergarten. Additionally, she engages in extracurricular activities after school, such as camps, Funtastic Fridays, Play Program, and Plays. Working with children and encouraging creative expression brings her great joy.
