Enrollment in our Preschool and Transitional Kindergarten programs is designed to be welcoming, personal, and straightforward. Rather than a formal application process, enrollment is based on program availability and appropriate placement. Just as importantly, we want the opportunity to meet your family, get to know your child, and make sure Carden feels like the right place for you.

Visit Carden
The best place to begin is with a campus tour or admissions event. Families have an opportunity to visit our Early Learning classrooms, meet members of our team, learn about the Carden approach, and experience the warmth and structure of a typical school day.
Meet Your Family
Choosing a child's first school is an important decision, and we believe the relationship between school and family begins before the first day. During the enrollment process, we take time to learn about your child, their personality, interests, previous school experience, routines, and individual needs, while giving you plenty of opportunity to ask questions and get to know us.
Determine Program & Placement
Our team will work with your family to determine the appropriate program and classroom placement based on your child's age, developmental readiness, program needs, and available space.
Complete Enrollment
Once placement and availability are confirmed, families will receive enrollment materials to secure their child's space. All required enrollment documentation, licensing forms, and applicable deposits must be completed before a student begins school.
Come Get to Know Us
There is no formal admissions assessment for Preschool or TK. Our goal is simply to begin building the strong school-family partnership that is so important during these early years.
Enrollment is offered based on availability, and families are encouraged to begin the process early as class sizes are intentionally limited.
