Carden Conejo Advisory Board
The purpose of the Carden Conejo Advisory Board is to further the school’s mission and ensure its continued success through involvement of parents and community members in a shared leadership of the school. Parents, administration, and the community work together to ensure the school is acting in accordance with its mission and in a responsible manner.
Board members act in an advisory capacity to the school’s Head of School and the Business Director. They voluntarily offer their experience and expertise to strengthen the school’s decision making process and strategic direction. Each member serves a two-year term.
During its monthly meetings, the Advisory Board shall:
- Advise on the strategic direction and long-term plans of the school
- Provide subject matter expertise across various functions, including but not limited to finance, legal, HR, and marketing
- Serve as a sounding board for new ideas, initiatives and policy development
- Provide supporting counsel on any other appropriate events/issues that may arise
The Advisory Board is interested in recruiting new members to serve on the Board. We have developed an application form to help document and evaluate the interest and qualifications of prospective new additions to the Board.
